casa 'cuatro vientos' is an idyllic, detached and very traditional andalucian peasant's cottage situated just outside the small picturesque village of 'fuente del conde' and ten minutes from iznajar town and lake. the village is a pleasant 10 minute meander and has a small well stocked supermarket. opposite is 'los pajaritos', a friendly bar/restaurant serving a great chilled beer and the best tapas in the area.

with stunning views over the surrounding countryside, its location is perfectly placed for walking, bird watching, fishing, sailing, horse riding visiting the cultural hot spots or just chilling out. as artists we find the light and tranquility both inspiring and invigorating. the cottage is peaceful and private with uninterrupted panoramic views from the sunny terrace, across the almond and olive groves. extending from its original 8th century cave and built over 120 years ago, it retains many of its original rustic features, now with the addition of a delightful kitchen and stylish bathroom. there are 2 bedrooms [one twin and one double] a separate living room with a DVD/CD with flat screen monitor and speakers for an MP3. There's a log burner in the living room for the evenings during the winter months end nov - feb the days can be warm but the evenings may be nippy.
